Yes, it is true; industrial interior design has been trendy for awhile, I could even say that is a well-established style for homes, restaurants and office spaces. But, is also true that there is always a new way to accomplish the look. Stay with me to find out the latest one.
Vintage furniture, open space lofts, worn out finishes; rusty woods and black steel fixtures. They were the perfect elements to get the “old fabric building” vibe. Now we can add a new element, so characteristic of this type of architecture: black industrial frames.
Huge windows, gridded with black steel frames, are pretty typical in these environments, however now they are conquering the interior as well. And even if you don’t have the authentic industrial loft; you can still accomplish the look in some new ways:
Let me tell you how…
One idea, and really trendy right now; is installing some black frames for your shower enclosures, it can be a gridded one, for a farmhouse kind of feel, or a clean black frame for a minimalistic space. To accent the shower door; you can mix it with some matte black faucets fixtures, on trend as well.
Another way, (that is huge lately) is to use it to separate ambients without losing light, or the open space effect. So some applications go from delimiting the sleeping area in a loft apartment, the kitchen from the living room, or for enclosure in dining spaces. You can see all of the applications in the Pinterest board bellow.
