A few months ago I was assigned to a new project: Designing a new bathroom/locker-room for the company I work for. They wanted a clean modern look, with some industrial touches since it was a fabric building. Considering the limited budget; I had to get creative and find some affordable bathroom ideas that will do the work. Jump in and check the 3 top trends that I found to achieve it!
About the walls and tiles:
I searched for a lot of options; one request was using white tiles for a brighter and clean space, considering that there wasn’t natural light. Still, I wanted something white; but with some character; and that’s when I found subway tiles. They have been trending for a while (no wonder why) and the great news they are pretty affordable too. They bring the perfect balance for a modern space with and industrial personality.
Just like you can see in this post, black matte faucets and fixtures are so trendy right now. I tough they complemented the subway tiles perfectly, by giving them a sophisticated accent. Adding some hardware accessories to hang your towels, (just like the ones in the SHOP THE TREND section) will give your bathroom a contemporary bold statement.
Luxury looking accessories:
Here is the fun part, adding layers of accessories to complete the design. Look for soft cotton textiles, satin and matte textures, marble and stone materials, geometric patterns and even some metallic touches. This element will take the space to a luxury level experience. Even when they look expensive, they don’t have to be, you can find some budget ideas in the SHOP THE TREND section below.
